Up early at 6 am. To breakfast at the hotel. Did email and then headed to the airport. Checked in at US Airways first class. And finally got rid of the heavy bag! Thru security and went to the Club.
Left late due to fog in LA. Into Vegas and to the Club which is outside security - really stupid. Read and watched TV and then back through security.
Left early (what a surprise!). 4 1/4 hour trip - arrived early.
Retrieved my bags - Tim met me - so glad to be home.
But what a GREAT TRIP - A FUN ADVENTURE.
Now to plan my adventures for 2009!!!!

Friday September 26, 2008 Richmond, VA
Day 2 of my ATW Adventure: GMT minus 5
Up at 7 am and had breakfast in the lounge. Went to Our Lady of Hope . Took Mom to lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then drove her around. She doesn't get out much.
She took a nap in the afternoon. Watched tv with Mom about 4. Sorted her clothes adn organized her closet.
Had dinner with Chris and watched the first Presidential Debate.
To bed about midnite.

Thursday September 25, 2008 Ft Lauderdale - Philadelphia - Richmond
Another great adventure begins - my second around-the-world trip.
Day 1 - Flight 1 of 15
Woke up early excited about my new adventure. I went to Wilton Manors to my little house to finish the deck and do some last minute things around the Venetian. Unpacked a few things in my bag that I figured I wouldn't need.
Tim fixed a great send-off lunch. Went to the bank and then to the airport.
The plane was over 1 hour late due to weather in Philadelphia. So I did my Sudoku and read.
Arrived in Philadelphia - rented a car at Avis - a Cadillac with satellite radio - really cool. I headed off to Richmond via I-95 south. It rained the entire way. Arrived in Richmond at 10:30 pm and went straight to bed.
